NCAAW: Georgia Tech upset No. 3 UConn by a final score of 57-44. The Huskies had won 240 straight over unranked opponents.

NCAAF: Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh was named the AP College Football Coach of the Year after leading the Wolverines to their first Big Ten title in 17 years. Also: Former Clemson DC Brent Venables will reportedly sign a six-year, $43.5 million contract to be Oklahoma’s next head coach.

NBA: Steve Kerr will be named the next head coach of the USA men’s basketball team, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

NFL: Former Broncos WR and Super Bowl champ Demaryius Thomas died late Thursday night. He was 33.
