Esports Meets Real-Life Competition

The 2021-22 World Championship Season of The Drone Racing League (DRL) marks the first time an athlete must dominate both esports and real-life competition to be crowned world champion. During the season, underway now, pilots compete in both real-life races and on virtual courses for equally weighted points.

NBA: Steve Kerr will be named the next head coach of the USA men’s basketball team, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

NFL: Former Broncos WR and Super Bowl champ Demaryius Thomas died late Thursday night. He was 33.
