Euro 2020: Italy defeated England 3-2 on penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw to win its first European title since 1968. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saved two PKs in the shootout to secure the victory at Wembley Stadium.

NHL: The Senators announced they’ve hired former broadcaster Pierre McGuire as senior vice president of player development.

MLB: The Pirates selected Louisville catcher Henry Davis with the first pick of the amateur draft. Vanderbilt righthander Jack Leiter went to the Rangers at No. 2. Eight of the first 13 selections were high school players. Rounds 2-10 are Monday.
