Also: Rick Carlisle agreed to a four-year, $29 million contract as head coach of the Pacers, according to ESPN. The Celtics hired Brooklyn Nets assistant Ime Udoka as head coach, according to multiple reports.

NHL: The Seattle Kraken hired former Flyers coach Dave Hakstol as the first head coach in franchise history. The team will debut in the 2021-22 season.

Pick: While Kawhi Leonard remains sidelined with a knee injury for the Clippers, Chris Paul is listed as probable to return for the Suns. Paul missed the first two games while in the NBA’s health and safety protocols after testing positive for COVID.
