Soccer: Carli Lloyd will play her final game for the USWNT in Tuesday’s friendly against South Korea. Lloyd won two Olympic gold medals and two World Cups with the USWNT and was named FIFA’s Women’s World Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
NCAAW: Paige Bueckers was unanimously named to the preseason AP All-America team. Last season, she was the first freshman to win the AP Player of the Year award.
NBA: Kevin Durant scored his 24,000th career point last night, becoming the 26th player in NBA history to accomplish the feat.
