NBA: Stephen Curry scored 53 to lead the Warriors over the Nuggets 116-107, and in doing so surpassed Wilt Chamberlain to become Golden State’s all-time points leader. Chamberlain had 17,783 points in franchise history, and Curry now stands at 17,818. Also: The Nuggets announced that guard Jamal Murray has a torn ACL and will be out indefinitely.

NFL: The Cardinals agreed to a one-year contract with former Steelers running back James Conner.

NCAAW: Vanderbilt hired UConn assistant Shea Ralph as its new head coach.
