NFL: Quarterback Tom Brady played the 2020 season — and led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl title — with a partially torn MCL in his right knee, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The 43-year-old reportedly injured the knee in his final season with the Patriots.

Soccer: Daryl Dike scored two goals in the United States’ 6-1 victory over Martinique, placing them in the 2021 Gold Cup knockout stage.

Olympics: Cavaliers forward Kevin Love withdrew from the USA men’s basketball team as he continues to recover from a right calf injury.

The Open: Chasing Louis Oosthuizen and Collin Morikawa are Jordan Spieth (-8), Emiliano Grillo (-6), Brooks Koepka (-5), and Tony Finau (-4). Bryson DeChambeau is on the cut line (+1), while Phil Mickelson (+12) missed the cut.
