Olympics: The U.S. women’s basketball team defeated Nigeria 92-63 in the final exhibition tuneup for both teams. The teams will face each other in their Summer Games opener. Also: An alternate on the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, Kara Eaker, tested positive for COVID-19, according to multiple reports; tennis player Coco Gauff will also miss the Games after testing positive.

MLB: Shohei Ohtani hit his MLB-leading 34th home run in the Angels’ 7-4 loss to the Mariners. The righthander is scheduled to start on the mound against the Athletics on Monday.

Soccer: The United States men (3-0-0) secured the top spot in Group B of the Gold Cup with a 1-0 victory over Canada. The U.S. will face either Costa Rica or Jamaica in the quarterfinals.
