The Draft

POWERED BY

Today, we honor the legacy of Jackie Robinson, who 74 years ago broke baseball’s color barrier. He was a pioneer for the game and a leader for civil rights. Here’s to you, 42.

Making Headlines

Tennis: Top-ranked Novak Djokovic was upset by Dan Evans 6-4, 7-5 in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters. Rafael Nadal steamrolled Grigor Dimitrov 6-1, 6-1.

NBA: Seven-time All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge announced his retirement due to an irregular heartbeat. Also: Stephen Curry went 8-for-8 from the floor — including 6-for-6 from 3-point range — and scored 42 to lift the Warriors to a 147-109 win over the Thunder.

MLB: The Dodgers (10-2) became the first team to reach double-digit wins after defeating the Rockies 4-2.

Tonight’s Action

Bucks at Hawks

Watch: 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Odds: Bucks -4 || O/U 230.5

Pick: Milwaukee is playing the second of a back-to-back, but starters’ minutes were down thanks to their 130-105 rout of Minnesota. Atlanta’s Trae Young is questionable with a bruised left calf, while Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is questionable for Milwaukee.

Sports Section likes the Bucks laying the points and the under.
