NFL: According to ESPN, the Browns exercised the fifth-year option of quarterback Baker Mayfield’s contract.

Soccer: Barcelona are working on a three-year contract offer to Lionel Messi, according to multiple reports.

NBA: Anthony Davis returned to the Lakers’ lineup after missing 30 games due to injury. The eight-time All-Star had four points in L.A.’s 115-110 loss to the Mavericks.
