MLB: The Astros and righthander Lance McCullers Jr. agreed to a five-year, $85 million contract extension, according to multiple reports. Also: The White Sox said outfielder Eloy Jimenez will be out 5-to-6 months with a ruptured pectoral tendon.

NBA: ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Norman Powell, Evan Fournier, and Javale McGee were among players sent to new teams prior to the trade deadline.

NCAAW: No. 2 seeds Louisville, Texas A&M, and Maryland advanced to the Sweet 16.

NFL: The Jets signed former 49ers running back Tevin Coleman to a one-year, $2 million contract, according to ESPN.

Golf: Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas all lost their first-round matches at the WGC Dell Match Play.
