Paralympics: The Opening Ceremony of the 2020 Paralympic Games was held Tuesday in Tokyo. The Games feature 4,537 athletes from 163 nations and run through Sept. 5.

NFL: Bears coach Matt Nagy reiterated that veteran Andy Dalton — not rookie Justin Fields — will be the team’s starting quarterback Week 1 against the Rams. Also, the Panthers and wide receiver Robby Anderson have agreed to a two-year, $29.5 million contract extension, per the NFL Network
