NWSL: Portland defeated Gotham FC in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw to capture the NWSL Challenge Cup. Morgan Weaver scored the game-winning penalty kick.

NFL: Former Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher has agreed to a one-year, $9.4 million contract with the Colts, according to ESPN.

MLB: The Braves signed right-handed reliever Shane Greene to a one-year contract.
