Tonight’s Action

Capitals at Bruins

Watch: 7 p.m. ET, NBCSN

Odds: Capitals +134, Bruins -143 || O/U 6

Pick: Two of the East Division’s best will clash for the third time this season after splitting the first pair. The Bruins are 5-1-0 at home, and Brad Marchand leads Boston with 10 goals and 13 assists.

Nicklas Backstrom has been hot for the Capitals with 10 goals and 15 assists. Evgeny Kuznetsov returns after a two-game absence with an upper-body injury, while Zdeno Chara will be fired up to face his old team in Boston.

We like the value on the small road underdog. Take the Capitals and the over.

Shoutout: Yesterday, we asked subscribers to predict the winner, score, and leading scorer of Baylor-West Virginia.

Baylor prevailed 94-89 in overtime with West Virginia’s Taz Sherman posting a game-high 26.

Surprisingly, subscribers were all over home dog West Virginia, so no shoutout today…except to ourselves. Sports Section suggested taking Baylor -3.5. We did misfire on the under 148.5.

Keep the picks coming!
