The Draft

POWERED BY

We’re not sure when the next no-hitter will happen — though at this rate it could be in a few hours. What we do know is the NBA postseason kicks off this weekend, and you can enter our exclusive NBA Playoff DraftKings DFS contest for Saturday’s first round. See more below about how you can match wits with us and win cash.

Making Headlines

NBA: LeBron James drilled a 34-foot 3-pointer late to lift the Lakers over the Warriors and into the No. 7 postseason spot in the West. Also: The Grizzlies advanced with a win over the Spurs.

Soccer: Juventus defeated Atalanta 2-1 to capture the Coppa Italia.

NHL: The Bruins, Jets, Oilers, Hurricanes, and Avalanche all took first-round series leads. Also: John Davidson is returning as president of the Blue Jackets.

NFL: Tim Tebow officially signed a one-year deal with Jacksonville to be a tight end.

Tonight’s Action

Pacers at Wizards

Watch: 8 p.m. ET, TNT

Odds: Wizards -3.5  || O/U 237

Pick: It’s tough to go up against Russell Westbrook in a big game, so Sports Section likes Washington laying the points and the under.

Who ya got? Reply to this newsletter with your prediction of the Pacers-Wizards winner, the final score, and Westbrook’s points total. Nail it, and you get a mention in the next edition of Sports Section. Don’t forget to include your Twitter handle.

Shoutout: Yesterday, we asked subscribers to predict the winner of Jets-Oilers, the final score, and the first goal-scorer. Winnipeg won 4-1, with Edmonton’s Jesse Puljujarvi notching the first goal.

Much like Sports Section, no subscriber predicted the Jets to prevail. Here’s to better betting!

Keep the picks coming, everyone!
