Tonight’s Action

Florida Panthers at Carolina Hurricanes, 5 p.m. ET

Odds: Hurricanes -134, Panthers +125 || O/U 6.5

Pick: In the battle to chase down Tampa for first place in the Central Division, look for the Hurricanes to prevail in a close one at home. They are undefeated in Raleigh, and they have a plus-10 advantage in goal differential (+14) over Florida (+4). Despite strong goaltending on both sides, we like the over as well.

Shoutout: Yesterday, we asked subscribers to predict the winner, score and first goal-scorer of Golden Knights-Avalanche. Colorado won 3-2 with Nathan MacKinnon the first to find the back of the net.

Kudos to subscriber Shaun Henderson, who had the Avs winning 3-2 with Nazem Kadri scoring first. Half-credit since Kadri did notch the game-winner with 41 seconds remaining.

Keep the picks coming!
