NHL: Marc-Andre Fleury made 30 saves to help the Golden Knights top the Avalanche 6-3 and advance to the semifinals. Fleury’s 89th career playoff win moved him into fourth place all-time. Also: The Hurricanes’ Rod Brind’Amour, the Wild’s Dean Evason, and Joel Quenneville of the Panthers were named Jack Adams Award finalists.

NBA: Khris Middleton scored 35 as the Bucks topped the Nets 86-83, trimming Brooklyn’s series lead to 2-1.

Soccer: Samantha Mewis scored to lift the U.S. women’s national team to a 1-0 win over Portugal in the first of the USWNT’s Summer Series warmups for Tokyo.

MLB: The White Sox put second baseman Nick Madrigal on the 60-day injured list with a torn hamstring.
