NHL: Goaltender Tuukka Rask signed a prorated one-year, $1 million contract with the Bruins on Tuesday and is expected to start Thursday against the Flyers. The 2013-14 Vezina Trophy winner won a Stanley Cup as Boston’s backup in 2011.

NFL: The Giants fired head coach Joe Judge on Tuesday, just one day after GM Dave Gettleman announced his retirement. The team has interviewed Bills assistant GM Joe Schoen.

MLB: The Mets will retire Keith Hernandez’s No. 17 on July 9. The 1986 World Series Champ and current Mets broadcaster will become the fourth player to have his number retired by the team.

NCAAF: East Carolina’s All-American CB Ja’Quan McMillian has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft. Also: Alabama WR Jameson Williams will undergo surgery for a torn ACL he suffered in the College Football National Championship.
