MLB: The White Sox placed lefthander Carlos Rodon on the 10-day injured list with left arm soreness. Rodon is 9-5 with a 2.38 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 160 strikeouts in 109.2 innings this season.

NFL: The Seahawks have made another contract extension offer to Jamal Adams that would likely make the Pro Bowler the highest-paid safety in the league, according to ESPN.
