The Draft

So we shouldn’t invite both Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau to our MDW party? We don’t even have to talk about golf — we’ll be watching the Indy 500.

Making Headlines

NBA: Anthony Davis had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists to lead the Lakers over the Suns 109-102 and even their series at 1-1. Also: The Nets and Mavericks each took 2-0 leads in their respective series.

MLB: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his league-leading 16th home run in the Blue Jays’ 6-2 win over the Yankees. Also: Umpire Joe West worked his 5,376th regular-season game, the most in MLB history.

NHL: The Hurricanes beat the Predators in overtime to move one victory away from advancing to the second round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tonight’s Action

Hawks at Knicks

Watch: 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Odds: Knicks -2 || O/U 213

Pick: Trae Young, who silenced the Garden crowd with 32 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds in Game 1, will continue to be a handful for the Knicks.

But we still like Julius Randle and co. to bounce back. Lay the points with the Knicks and take the over.

Who ya got? Reply to this newsletter with your predictions for the Hawks-Knicks winner, the final score, and the combined points for Young and Randle. Nail it, and you get a mention in the next edition of Sports Section. Don’t forget to include your Twitter handle.

Shoutout: Yesterday, we asked subscribers to predict the winner of Dodgers-Astros, the final score, and the combined strikeouts of starters Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke. Los Angeles won 9-2, and the pitchers had a combined 11 Ks.

Subscriber Josh Goldberg (@joshuagoldberg6) had the Dodgers winning and was closest to the final score (7-4) and total strikeouts (12). Nice work, Josh!

Keep the picks coming, everyone!
